Billed as the Largest Boat Show in the U.S. the 2011 show is expected to be a great success as the new boating season gets underway with over 100,000 attendees expected this year, of which 45% will be traveling from abroad outside of Florida.

Miami International Boat Show 2011
Over 3,000 boats and 2,000 exhibitors from all over the world will be displaying the latest and greatest in technologies, accessories and introducing eco-friendly boats and products that promote a more environmentally conscience boating lifestyle. Strictly Sail Miami will be returning to an all Sail only environment located in Miami marina at Bayside.
Approximately 200 exhibitors including the latest global innovations in sailing design and technology, accessories and current charters will be showcasing their boats and products. This year there will be more boats on display up from the 46 displayed last year. The yachting industry as a whole has seen a slight increase in demand over the last months of 2010 which could mean a slight trending upward for the 2011 season.
The Miami Yacht and Brokerage in-water Show this year will have over 500 yachts and super-yachts on display. This dazzling display of yachts is valued at over one billion dollars. As the 2011 season seems to be heating up more boats than ever will be on exhibit from the latest designs to pre-owned vessels. The Miami International Boat Show expanded its reach for the first time last year via online marketing allowing exhibitors to promote Boats, products and services online through MiamiBoatShow.com creating greater lead generation on a global scale for exhibitors before, during, and after the show.
This year the Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail Show launched a ground-breaking APP for IPhone® and Android. This is the first and only U.S. boat show to have a mobile application offered to exhibitors and attendees allowing for ease of navigation and up to the minute information for event time and places.
Yachting Image will be making an appearance at the Horizon Power Catamarans exhibit Friday and Saturday, supporting their client in the launch of a successful 2011 yachting season. The Miami Boat Show is known as the largest Catamaran capital of the world with the greatest selection of Catamarans than any other Boat Show.
The expectations are high for this year’s boat show; looking forward to a great 2011 season, hope to see you at the show.
